Board of Directors
Skylake is self-governed through a nine-member
Board of Directors which has the responsibility
of administering the property, setting an
annual budget, arranging for its management
and performing all of the other acts that
may be required by the Association. Three
new directors – two from the permanent
resident class and one from the second home/unimproved
lot class -- are elected annually.

Architectural Building Committee (ABC)
Since Skylake’s inception, this committee has overseen home construction
and renovations, making sure the strict architectural guidelines are
followed. This group meets monthly to discuss and review projects. New
home plans are presented by contractors and owners and must be approved
before the first shovel of soil is turned. Thanks to this committee’s
close supervision and frequent visits to construction sites every home
here blends with the environment and with the look and feel of Skylake.
The ABC meets at 9 a.m. the first Thursday of each month and is open
to all property owners.

Natural Resources Committee (NRC)

The NRC monitors tree topping and removal, wildlife, lakes, build,
hang and maintain bluebird houses in the pasture, hiking trail
maintenance and generally works to preserve and protect the natural
beauty of Skylake.
