DIRECTIONS TO SKYLAKE FROM ATLANTA
From GA 400:
Take GA 400 North.
After Exit 17 it will remain divided but non-restricted. Later it
becomes a 2-lane county road called Long Branch Road. Once you get on
Long Branch, turn right at the first light and go 12-13 miles where you
will begin to enter the town of Cleveland. Just past the Jack P. Nix
Primary School on the left, turn left onto Wilford Ash Sr. Parkway.
Continue several blocks and through a traffic light where you will then
be on Hwy 75. Continue going straight toward the town of Helen. Go
approximately 6 miles and turn right onto Hwy 17. Travel 2.5 miles to
an intersection with several small shops and The Old Sautee Store. At
that intersection turn left onto Hwy 255. Go about another 2.5 miles.
You will come to a sharp right bend where another road comes into 255
from the left, making a Y. Take that left at the Y onto Skylake Road.
Less than a mile on the left, you’ll the sign to the entrance to the
Skylake community.
FROM I-85:
Go I-85 North. Take
Exit 113, a left exit, onto I-985 North. At approximately Mile Marker
26, it will remain divided but non-restricted. Go about to the 3rd
light, which will be just past Mile Marker 41, and turn left. The sign
will say Hwy 384/Helen/Unicoi State Park. Follow Hwy 384 for
approximately 15 miles until it dead-ends into Hwy 75. Turn right. Go
about a mile and turn right onto Hwy 17. Travel 2.5 miles to an
intersection with several small shops and The Old Sautee Store. At that
intersection turn left onto Hwy 255. Go about another 2.5 miles. You
will come to a sharp right bend where another road comes into 255 from
the left, making a Y. Take that left at the Y onto Skylake Road. Less
than a mile on the left, you’ll the sign to the entrance to the Skylake
community.
